Can I use my own domain for email?
Yes — that is the whole point. Your mailboxes are on your own domain, so you send and receive as you@yourdomain.com. If your domain is elsewhere you simply point its MX records to us, and if you need a new domain you can register one during checkout.
Do I need a hosting plan as well?
No. Email Hosting is a standalone product — you get mailboxes on your domain without buying a website hosting plan. That said, every one of our web hosting plans already includes email at no extra cost, so this plan is aimed at people who want email on a domain hosted elsewhere, or who only need email.
How many mailboxes and how much storage do I get?
The plan includes up to ten mailboxes, each with 10 GB of storage — plenty for years of email and attachments — plus unlimited aliases and forwarders. If you outgrow it, you can move up to one of our hosting plans, which include even more.
Will my email work in Outlook and on my phone?
Yes. Alongside webmail you get full IMAP, POP and SMTP access, so your email syncs to Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail, Thunderbird and the mail app on your phone. We provide the exact server settings, and support can help you get set up.
Can you move my existing email across?
