Refund Policy

1. Money-back guarantee

Hosting plans for shared, business, WordPress and WooCommerce all carry a 30-day money-back guarantee against the hosting fee itself. Reseller hosting carries a 7-day guarantee. Decide inside that window that the service does not suit you, get in touch, and we refund the hosting fee. There is no drawn-out process to sit through.

2. What isn't refundable

Certain products go live with upstream providers straight away, and once provisioned they cannot be refunded:

• Domain registrations, renewals and transfers;
• any VPS or dedicated server already provisioned;
• A free domain bundled with a plan remains yours, so the cost of registering it may be taken off whatever hosting refund is owed to you;
• SSL certificates, and any other add-on already issued.

3. Renewals

New hosting purchases are what the money-back guarantee covers. Renewals are not covered. Cancelling is possible at any time and stops future renewals, and we would suggest doing it before the renewal date, so that the next term is not charged to you.

4. How to request a refund

Email info@hosting-cheap.com or raise a ticket inside your client area, quoting your account details and naming the service you want refunded. Where a refund qualifies, it goes back to the payment method you originally used.

5. Chargebacks & abuse

Get in touch before you raise a chargeback, because dealing with it directly is nearly always the quicker route. A refund may be refused where there is evidence that the guarantee has been abused, or that you have breached our Terms of Service.
