How to Create an Email Account on Your Domain

To create a mailbox on your domain, open Email Accounts in cPanel, click Create, enter the name (the part before the @), set a strong password and a storage limit, then save. Your address — for example you@yourdomain.com — works immediately through webmail, and you can also connect it to Outlook, Apple Mail or your phone.
Create the mailbox
- 1In cPanel, open Email → Email Accounts.
- 2Click Create.
- 3Choose your domain and type the username (the part before @, such as 'hello' or your name).
- 4Set a strong password and a storage quota (a few gigabytes is plenty for most people).
- 5Click Create. You can now sign in to Webmail straight away to test it.
Forwarders and autoresponders
- Forwarder: send a copy of everything for one address to another mailbox — handy for sending sales@ and support@ to the same inbox without creating extra logins.
- Autoresponder: reply automatically to incoming mail, for example an out-of-office message or an order confirmation.
- Catch-all: route any mail sent to a non-existent address on your domain to one mailbox (use sparingly — it can attract spam).
