How to Pay an Invoice, Change Your Payment Method, or Cancel

Updated 20 July 20264 min read

Everything to do with money lives in your client area. Sign in and open Billing to pay an invoice, view your history, or change your card. To upgrade or downgrade, open the service and choose the upgrade option. To cancel, request cancellation from the service's page — you can choose to cancel immediately or at the end of the paid term.

Pay or view an invoice

  1. 1Sign in to your client area.
  2. 2Open Billing → My Invoices.
  3. 3Click an invoice to see the detail, then Pay Now to settle it with your chosen method.
  4. 4Paid invoices stay in your history so you can download them any time for your records.

Change your payment method or card

  1. 1In the client area, open Billing → Payment Methods (or Manage Credit Card).
  2. 2Add or update your card details and save.
  3. 3Set the new method as default so future renewals use it automatically.

Upgrade, downgrade or cancel

  • Upgrade/downgrade: open Services → the service → Upgrade/Downgrade, pick the new plan, and pay any difference. Your data stays put.
  • Cancel: open the service and choose Request Cancellation. Select 'end of billing period' to keep it running until the term you've paid for ends, or 'immediate' to stop now.
  • You keep access until the cancellation date you choose — nothing is deleted the instant you click.

FAQ

Quick answers

Will I be charged automatically at renewal?

If you've saved a card and it's set as your default payment method, renewal invoices are charged automatically before the due date so your service never lapses. You'll get an invoice by email first. If you'd rather pay manually each time, remove the stored card and pay each invoice yourself from the client area.

Do I get a refund if I cancel?

New hosting plans are covered by our money-back guarantee for the initial period described in our refund policy. After that window, or for non-refundable items like registered domains, cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current term. See the refund policy page for the full detail.
