Accessibility Statement

What this covers

Only hosting-cheap.com itself. Billing, the client area and the hosting control panel are all bought-in software, and we do not write those interfaces, which puts them beyond anything this statement is in a position to promise.

1. The standard

WCAG 2.2, level AA. Judging it without spin: largely conformant — reached on every page we have tested, apart from the exceptions set out in section 3.

The words "fully accessible" do not appear here, because they would be false, and a statement that overclaims does more harm than no statement at all: it tells a disabled visitor to count on something that might not be present.

2. What is in place

• Colours for text and interface parts get measured against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast ratios.
• Keyboard focus remains visible right across the site, coloured bands included.
• Main controls measure 44px along their shorter side. Tight rows of links, the footer policy index among them, sit at 32px, which clears the 24px minimum WCAG 2.2 sets out in 2.5.8, and we make no claim to the larger figure for those.
• Animation is decorative, and it halts entirely under prefers-reduced-motion.
• Every page is assembled from proper headings, lists and landmark regions instead of styled boxes, while form fields get real labels rather than relying on placeholder text.
• At any width down to 320px, nothing spills sideways off the screen, which is what WCAG 1.4.10 asks for. We checked that width by width on 19 August 2026 instead of assuming it, and the reason is plain: two sites built from this same codebase turned out to be failing.

3. Where it still falls short

• No automated testing runs in the build. Contrast and structure receive a manual inspection at review time, so a regression can survive unnoticed until somebody actually looks.
• The translated pages have had no individual testing. There are 42 languages on the site. The right-to-left layouts, meaning Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi and Urdu, have seen far less testing than the English pages, so that is where trouble is most likely to be waiting.
• Decorative photos carry an empty alt attribute. Right for decoration, although a handful of those images arguably carry information and should describe themselves properly.
• Bought-in interfaces. From checkout onwards, the software belongs to a supplier. We report faults to them, though their code is not something we can edit ourselves.

4. Telling us

Email info@hosting-cheap.com or use the contact page. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what stopped you. Naming your browser and any assistive technology helps if you know them, though a report without those details is still worth having.

You get a reply within five working days. Where a barrier is keeping you from buying or from reaching support, tell us: we will sort it out with you by some other route while the underlying fault gets fixed.

Unhappy with the answer? The complaints procedure moves it across to somebody who played no part in it originally.

5. How this was checked

The assessment was our own work: tabbing through every interactive element, running a contrast meter across the colour tokens, and shrinking the viewport in stages down to 320px. No independent auditor has been through the site, and this paragraph stays here until one has.
