Website Terms of Use and Disclaimer

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Two different agreements

The terms of service cover the hosting you buy. This page covers the website you are reading, and it applies whether or not you ever become a customer. Where both touch something you have bought, the terms of service win.

1. Using the site

Read it, link to it, quote it with attribution, run as many domain searches as you like. What is not on:

  • scraping it hard enough to slow it down for other people, or working around rate limits on search and pricing;
  • lifting passages of the writing into your own pages, whether by hand or by feeding them through a model first;
  • framing it, or presenting it so it looks like a partnership that does not exist;
  • probing it for weaknesses outside the terms set out in the data security statement.

2. Who owns what

The writing, layout, artwork and marks belong to Bohzo Ltd. Photography is licensed to us, and a licence to quote the text is not a licence to take the pictures. Names like cPanel, WordPress and WHMCS belong to their owners and appear here to describe what we run, not to suggest any connection.

3. Prices, currencies and specifications

Prices are quoted and charged in US dollars. Where a page shows another currency, that is a live conversion for orientation only — the amount taken at checkout is the dollar figure, and your bank sets the rate that actually applies. This matters more here than on most sites, because this one is read in a lot of countries.

Domain prices come from the registries and move. A price on a page is an invitation to treat rather than a binding offer; the figure that binds is the one in your basket when you pay. Where a price is displayed in obvious error we are not obliged to honour it, and you will hear about it before any money moves rather than after.

Specifications change as the platform is upgraded. Where a change would reduce what an existing service delivers, the customers affected are told.

4. Guidance here is general

Everything in the guides and the knowledge base is checked before it goes up, but it is written for a general reader and not for you specifically. None of it is legal, tax or financial advice. Where a page touches company structure or the handling of customer records, treat it as background reading and take proper advice before acting on it.

Comparisons with other providers reflect what was publicly published at the time of writing. Competitors change their prices without telling us, so check before relying on one.

5. Translated pages

Most of this site is published in 42 languages. Those translations are provided to be helpful and are not a separate promise: where a translated page and the English one disagree, the English text is the one that applies.

That is also why the policy pages themselves are English-only rather than translated — explained on the legal index.

6. Links to other sites

Where a registry, a vendor manual or an outside tool answers something better than we could, we link to it. Those destinations are outside our control — their content is theirs, and so is whatever they do with your data once you arrive.

7. Availability of this site

Provided as it stands. It is not covered by the service level agreement, which applies to hosting you bought rather than to our own brochure, and pages may be changed, moved or withdrawn without notice.

8. Liability

So far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, from a third-party site reached through a link, or from this website being unavailable.

Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Cookies and personal data

What gets stored in your browser is in the cookie policy. What happens to personal data is in the privacy policy, and exercising a right over it is in GDPR and your data rights.

10. Governing law

Governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction. Consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may also bring proceedings where they live.

11. The company

Hosting-Cheap is a trading name of Bohzo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company No. 15031604. Registered office: The Workspace Basildon, 7 High Pavement, Basildon, England, SS14 1EA. Contact info@hosting-cheap.com.
